I saw this image of a person from a different era; a frontiersmen or a cowboy of long ago. Someone who died and their spirit is in the stars.
All that I wanted was one fleeting moment when I wouldn't be so alone. I saw you shining, but I saw that the distance between you and me was too far. All I am is a star man, all that I can do is forget you. See how the sun falls; the same yellow sunset that I see with my eyes closed. Hear how the stars call, and if you can hear that then you'll hear me calling for you. All I am is a star man, all that I can do is forget you, and my heart is an empty shadow where no life can dwell; a cold and lonely hell, but I must go on, on and on, on and on, on and on...
